We're seeking a service-driven, full-time
Nurse (RN) Supervisor
who combines clinical expertise with strong leadership to deliver exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you'll oversee daily department operations, uphold the highest standards of nursing practice, and maintain RN capabilities to provide coverage when needed. You'll lead by example—mentoring and supporting your team through training, coaching, and performance development while managing scheduling, timesheets, and other administrative functions. Collaboration is central to this position, as you'll partner with multiple departments to ensure seamless patient transitions and effective communication that drives continuous improvement. As a leader, you'll champion quality initiatives, implement policies, and cultivate a positive, patient-centered culture where both patients and team members can thrive. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who values teamwork, professional growth, and making a lasting difference in patient care.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time exempt position scheduled three 12-hour shifts, 7:00AM-7:30PM, Monday through Friday. May require flexing hours according to departmental staffing and oversight needs.

Education And Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current South Dakota RN license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (may be obtained upon hire); CMSRN certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of RN clinical experience preferred.

About The Recovery Care Unit
At our surgical specialty hospital, the 33-bed Recovery Care Unit is a vital component for the continuation of care for our surgical patients needing an overnight stay. On average, our patients stay 1-2 nights, where our dedicated team prioritizes a patient-centered approach to care.
