Day to day:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models.

• Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade Python code.

• Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and quantify model impact.

• Work cross-functionally with engineers to build scalable data pipelines for training and inference.

• Conduct testing, validation, and monitoring to ensure consistent model performance.

• Stay current on advancements in AI, ML, and LLM technologies to inform innovation within the team.

Must haves:

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning model development, deployment, and scaling in production.

• Proficiency in Python (8.5/10), with proven ability to write production-quality code.

• Strong machine learning and data science foundation, including model design, evaluation, and optimization.

• Hands-on experience building and deploying Machine Learning models currently running in production.

• Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into business value.

• Experience collaborating with Data Engineers and AI/ML Engineers to operationalize models.

• Strong understanding of model optimization and performance metrics (MAE, MAPE, etc.) and ability to fine-tune models for accuracy.

Plusses:

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Machine Learning model deployment.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLFlow, or TFX.

• Exposure to large language models (LLMs) or generative AI use cases.

• Knowledge of deep learning models (only 2-3 projects use deep learning)

Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between
$65 - $70 per hour.
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
