Construction Residential Carpenter

• A Better Home is seeking a mid-level carpenter who wants to build upon their abilities and knowledge while developing their craft for an award winning home remodeler.

Job Description Mid-Level / Lead Carpenter. Full-time position.

Duty's and tasks Manage a jobsite and its personnel as needed- Follow blueprints, building plans and specifications to meet the needs of the project- Install structures and fixtures, such as cabinets, windows, doors and molding- Measure, cut, or shape wood, and other materials- Construct building framework, including walls, floors, and openings- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures- Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers- Trouble-shoot issues within a structure and make recommendations for repair- Using knowledge and expertise, to deliver a quality installation and final product.

Requirements Must be able to work alone and or with others as project dictates- Must be able to understand budgets and time frames- Must be an organized self-starter with attention to details- Be the face of our company by communicating with our clients, sub-contractors and staff.

Pay Wages will depend on experience and training. Field experience highly desired.
