Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Next Generation Learning Standards and NY state assessments and benchmarks

• Experience teaching at the grade K-4 level

• Strong, demonstrated understanding of the Science of Reading and core literacy instruction

• The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool

• Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement

• Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques

• Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners

• Evidence of strong classroom management skills with age appropriate experiences

• Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff

• Loyalty and evidence of being a team player

• Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community

Requirements: NY State certification in Childhood Education

Position Available: on/about January 2, 2026

Stipend: $45,544 - $57,156 (dependent on college credits)
