WST is a specialty manufacturing company that focuses on commercial and residential water storage tanks. We distribute CorGal galvanized steel tanks and TimberTanks throughout the USA and abroad via a network of authorized dealers. Both of these brands represent premium quality that has been established through exceptional engineering. Our tanks range from 500 gallons to over 650,000 gallons. We are the respected leader in this industry and our reputation is well established with architects, engineers, general contractors, fire marshals, and others who specify water storage tanks for their projects.

Our beautiful tank products can be used for various applications including rainwater harvesting for irrigation or potable water use, fire protection, stormwater management, and many other applications. We are also one of the only companies in the nation that specializes in small tanks on towers for signage and functional use.

Job Description

We are seeking an individual who can wear multiple hats and grow with the company. In this role, you will utilize a variety of distribution channels to achieve your plan goal. You will have established dealers which you can foster for greater sales growth. You will have the option to engage in direct sales and nurture the relationship through the entire sales cycle. And you will have the option of utilizing online distributors to reach a broader customer base.

This is a strategically key role that is essential for continued company growth and hence will require someone who displays exceptional professionalism. We pride ourselves on our expertise and our ability to consultatively guide our customers and help them understand our value proposition.

In order to learn your job, you will be expected to join our dealers' construction crews and participate in tank builds. Once you are proficient in tank building, then you may be deployed as an instructor to help new dealers learn the ropes as well as create new sales and training materials.

On occasion, you will assist with tradeshows and engage with industry groups to help make our products more recognized nationwide.

Travel Moderate travel is required to develop new business in your key states. 5-10 nights per month may be required to support goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable presenting and speaking in front of groups
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • 5+ years in business development, strategic accounts, national accounts, or other similar roles.
  • Be able to assist construction crew on jobsites, as needed
  • Moderate to heavy lifting (75+ lbs.)
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 20'

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with general contractors, architects, landscape architects, and engineers.

Benefits

  • Base salary + UNCAPPED commission (Salary starting range shown is base only; Sales representatives typically make over $120,000 per year once experienced).
