Job Description:
Shift : Monday through Friday 07:00 – 15:30
Coordinates cardiology and radiology workflows, reviewing patient wait times, satisfaction, and communication with radiologists. Ensures accurate scheduling and proper outpatient preparation for tests. Schedules all Special/Interventional Radiology and Cardiology procedures via phone, EMR, or fax. Reviews tentative schedules and consults with Modality Leader, Lead Nurse, Admissions, radiologists, etc., regarding schedule administration. Addresses schedule conflicts and requests outside policy with Directors, Managers, Nursing, Radiologist, and Modality Leaders. Seeks input on scheduling constraints and equipment preferences. Flags special needs and informs departments about add-on cases for non-admitted patients. Sends reservations for scheduled cases within set timeframes. Monitors, provides feedback, and implements workflow improvements with Director approval. Supports front-desk operations to reduce wait times and resolve service issues. Releases radiology films and reports, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Confirms outpatient appointments. Other duties as assigned.

Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
