Astro Health is one of the top healthtech AI companies in the SF Bay area with patent pending breakthrough contextual AI systems with multi-modal intelligence for stress, substance use disorder and longevity. This Feb 2026, we will be closing our late SEED round and will be rapidly expanding across top health systems in the US. We are hiring for multiple AI engineer roles for build and expansion. Compensation will be competitive with equity and you will have leadership role in the company.

Role Description

AI/ML Engineer with a top healthtech AI start-up located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The AI/ML Engineer will develop and optimize machine learning models, design algorithms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy data-driven solutions. The role involves working on innovative healthtech applications to solve complex problems, improve system efficiency, and deliver impactful healthcare solutions through AI and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms
• Expertise in Neural Networks and autonomous systems
• Competence in Statistics and data analysis methodologies
• Experience with designing, developing, and optimizing machine learning models
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field
