Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Order Picker for our Madison, Wisconsin warehouse. This role is essential to our logistics chain, ensuring that the right products are accurately selected for our customers. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specified items using pick lists or scanning devices, and ensuring order accuracy. A safe working environment is a cornerstone of our operations; therefore, strict adherence to all safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required. The job involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret pick lists or digital order information.
  • Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
  • Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
  • Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
  • Wear and use designated PPE at all times.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as directed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards.
  • Familiarity with basic logistics workflows.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Willingness to use required PPE.
