Job Summary:
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to a safe working environment. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, contributing to overall operational success.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly (certification may be required for forklifts).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting procedures.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards, adhering to Safety standards.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
  • Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies immediately.
  • Follow all company guidelines regarding the use of PPE.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives within our logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks including standing, walking, and frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices.
  • Willingness to wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
