Key Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or scan item barcodes to locate products.
- Retrieve correct quantities of items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to packing stations using appropriate equipment.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Use proper lifting techniques to handle items safely.
- Wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic inventory principles.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations within the logistics environment.
