About
Our Chicago, Illinois facility is looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our fast-paced fulfillment team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to our Logistics operations and ensuring timely shipments. This role involves navigating the warehouse using pick lists or scanners, locating products, and preparing them for the packing station. You must be able to work independently, maintain a high level of productivity, and adhere to all Safety guidelines. A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork are essential. While prior experience is helpful, we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals. Emphasis on Safety and proper use of PPE is a top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use scanners to identify items for orders.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves accurately.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory checks and reporting.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Use designated PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics fulfillment process.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 45 pounds and walking throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and understand pick lists. Basic math skills. Must be reliable and punctual. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Understanding of warehouse Safety practices. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
