Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and efficient Receiving Clerk for our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. The Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in our Logistics operations by accurately managing incoming goods. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for damage and discrepancies, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and properly stocking received items. Maintaining an orderly and safe receiving area is a key aspect of this position. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Prior experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of Safety, and all team members are expected to comply with our safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming freight from trucks using appropriate equipment.
  • Inspect all received goods for damage, shortages, or overages.
  • Verify received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Document all discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
  • Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock area.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other receiving equipment safely.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of our Logistics processes.

Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse receiving or a similar role is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to perform accurate counts and inspections. Familiarity with inventory control principles. Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 pounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to Safety and adherence to all procedures. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
