We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will ensure that inventory is accurately tracked and managed, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety protocols. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on pick lists.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly packaged.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail. Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Basic understanding of warehouse operations is beneficial. Commitment to workplace Safety. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
