About
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing these items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for shipment. This role demands attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to meet daily fulfillment targets. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting items up to 30 lbs. Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping boxes or containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing performance standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
