Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our state-of-the-art facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical to our logistics chain, supporting receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping processes. You will operate various material handling equipment, manage inventory locations, and maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper material flow within the warehouse.
  • Follow all Safety protocols and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Inspect equipment for proper function and report any issues.
  • Support the picking and packing operations as needed.
  • Understand and implement efficient logistics practices.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
  • Certification on specific equipment (e.g., forklift) is a plus.
  • Ability to perform frequent Lifting of heavy materials, up to 70 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety and accident prevention.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
