As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for selecting items from our warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your precision and efficiency are key to maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and supporting our logistics chain. Key duties include accurately picking products according to order specifications, inspecting items for quality, and carefully packing them for safe transit. We place a high priority on workplace safety , and all team members are required to use designated PPE and adhere to all safety regulations. The job requires physical stamina, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and consistent lifting of products. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order forms or electronic device data.
- Verify that picked items match order requirements (product, quantity, etc.).
- Inspect items for damage or defects before proceeding to packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as requested.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product information.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial in this logistics role.
