As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their items correctly and on time. This role involves navigating our warehouse, locating products using scanning technology, and meticulously preparing items for packing and dispatch. You'll work closely with our logistics department to maintain optimal inventory levels and contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate products within the warehouse and stage them for packing.
- Verify order accuracy before items are sent to the packing station.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned picking zones.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting devices as needed.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to pick orders accurately and efficiently.
- Experience with warehouse scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail is critical.
- Willingness to follow safety instructions and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this logistics role.
