Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Accurately store and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking and packing items.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (certification required) and pallet jacks.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with full inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) for accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Perform tasks that involve regular and substantial lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery safely and effectively.
- Physical capacity for extended periods of standing, walking, and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when necessary.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE protocols.
- Flexibility in work schedule may be required.
