About
We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse facility in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, carefully picking them for orders, and then expertly packing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail to prevent errors. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves and storage locations based on order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping, using correct materials.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines for warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE during all tasks.
- Support the overall logistics and shipping department goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in picking and packing or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
