We are hiring Distribution Center Associates for our busy facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential to the effective operation of our logistics network, ensuring products move efficiently from our center to their destinations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of goods. Your day-to-day responsibilities will require a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and all associates must adhere to strict Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves physical tasks, including regular Lifting, and working in a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Stage and load outgoing shipments for carrier pickups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Follow all company Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily logistics objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations and use provided PPE.
