Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the movement of materials throughout our facility, ensuring a steady and efficient workflow. This role requires strength, precision, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other appropriate equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Stage materials for production or shipment, ensuring they are readily accessible.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist in receiving and shipping operations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, free from obstructions and potential Safety hazards.
  • Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
  • Work closely with production and shipping departments to ensure timely material flow.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including consistent Lifting (up to 70 lbs).
  • Strong understanding of material handling equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must adhere to all PPE requirements.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of productivity in a demanding logistics environment.
