We are seeking energetic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is critical for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely dispatch of goods. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory based on orders, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for transit. You will utilize scanning technology and follow established procedures to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items with care into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order details against picked items to guarantee accuracy.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup, supporting logistics efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment when needed.
- Meet established performance metrics for speed and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and logistics support as directed by supervisors.
- This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing.
- Ensure all packaging meets quality standards for safe logistics and delivery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including frequent lifting, standing, and walking.
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Team player mentality with the ability to work independently.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for smooth logistics operations.
