Become a key player in our distribution network as a Distribution Center Associate in Boise, Idaho! Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and sort products according to order specifications.
- Stage finished orders for shipment, ensuring all paperwork is complete.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, including the use of required PPE.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Understand and implement efficient logistics processes within the distribution center.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Support the overall efficiency of the distribution center through diligent work.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is a significant advantage. Proficiency with warehouse equipment is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical ability to handle demanding tasks, including significant lifting and standing. Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial. Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE is mandatory. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
