Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and trucks safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and proper placement.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper load handling.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including manual Lifting and order picking.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured before transport.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Ability to perform physical tasks and occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear required PPE , including safety-toed boots and high-visibility vests.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
