We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy warehouse located in Washington, D.C. This role is critical for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to speed and accuracy are essential. You will work within a team to meet daily order fulfillment targets while maintaining strict adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Scan items to ensure correct product and quantity selection.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order details against packed items.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage, which may involve Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for frequent bending, reaching, and occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE , including gloves and eye protection.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
