In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your duties will include picking orders, verifying quantities, packaging items securely, and labeling them for dispatch. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the warehouse and logistics field. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick sheets or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order details against packed items.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of boxes and packages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
