Join our thriving logistics team in Portland, Oregon as a Warehouse Associate! We are looking for dedicated individuals to perform a wide range of tasks within our warehouse facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain, involving the handling of goods from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch. A strong commitment to safety and accuracy is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against order documents.
- Sort and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse environment.
- Comply with all company policies, including safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
