About
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our San Antonio, Texas team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Efficient and safe operation of equipment is paramount to our Logistics operations. You will ensure that materials are moved accurately and efficiently to support warehousing and distribution functions. A strong commitment to Safety , including adherence to all operating procedures and regulations, is required. This position demands attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. You will be a key player in maintaining the flow of goods within our facility, ensuring timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with efficiency and precision.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Stack and unstack pallets and merchandise accurately.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and operating procedures for forklift operation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Use appropriate PPE , including hard hats and safety vests, as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and Logistics .
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Excellent understanding of forklift operational Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must wear required PPE .
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
