About The Role
The role sits within the internal Tax Team and reports to the Global Head of Tax. The successful candidate will support tax compliance, year-end reporting, and tax-related projects across the EMEA region. They will also work closely with the finance team and the business to support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing half-year and year-end effective tax rate calculations and tax disclosures for the group.
Managing direct tax compliance across EMEA, including review of tax returns and preparation of internal files.
Managing VAT returns and related indirect tax compliance.
Partnering with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, business) to support decision-making.
Assisting the Global Head of Tax in managing regional tax risks.
Liaising with external tax advisors.
Conducting research on tax and regulatory requirements.
Leading and supporting tax-related projects for the group.
Performing other ad hoc duties as required.
Required Skills And Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
Strong knowledge of corporate income tax.
Approximately 4–5 years of experience in corporate tax, ideally gained in Big 4 or large second-tier firms.
Relevant professional qualification (CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not essential.
Exposure to tax advisory and/or compliance in other EMEA jurisdictions is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
