We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack products and materials within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
