We are seeking a highly motivated Distribution Center Associate for our facility in San Francisco, California. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Safety is our number one priority; adherence to all Safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is non-negotiable. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 55 lbs. Join a leading logistics company and be part of a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using scanning technology.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and Safe distribution center environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform regular Lifting and movement of packages and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily logistics targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to work in a standing/walking role for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to a Safe and productive work environment.
