About
We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in material handling, inventory management, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout our logistics network. Your responsibilities will include operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and accurately. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, conducting pre-operation checks, and adhering to all company Safety guidelines are critical aspects of this role. Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is enforced to ensure a Safe work environment for all. This position requires proficiency in forklift operation and regular engagement with materials that involve Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to company policies regarding Logistics operations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Experience in logistics or distribution center environments is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting and maneuvering of products.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe and efficient workspace.
