About
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. The Material Handler will be responsible for a variety of physical tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving, unpacking, and stocking incoming inventory, as well as picking, packing, and shipping outgoing orders. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and management to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all operations. Attention to detail is paramount to maintaining inventory integrity and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and possess a keen understanding of warehouse safety protocols. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus, but not required. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment. Applicants must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving materials from receiving to storage areas
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Operating pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Following all safety guidelines and procedures
- Assisting with inventory counts
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics
- Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE
This role requires consistent physical activity and adherence to strict safety measures to ensure the well-being of all employees. Understanding and implementing PPE protocols is crucial.
