We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be essential to the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility, supporting our **logistics** operations. Your duties will include receiving, storing, picking, and staging materials, as well as operating material handling equipment. A commitment to **safety** is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all **safety** procedures and wear the necessary **PPE**. This position involves significant physical activity, including regular **lifting** and movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Pick and stage materials for production or outbound shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and hazard-free.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** policies and procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
- Perform **lifting** and maneuvering of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient **logistics** processes.
- Support other warehouse functions as required.
