We are seeking a diligent and energetic Material Handler to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within the warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations and timely fulfillment of orders. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to **safety**. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized workspace. Proper use of **PPE** is mandatory at all times to ensure your well-being and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders accurately.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain inventory records and report any discrepancies.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** protocols and procedures.
- Participate in **lifting** and moving of heavy items as needed, utilizing proper techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in **logistics**.
