About
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Your role will be critical in maintaining a smooth workflow within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and timely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE .
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
- Monitor and manage warehouse productivity and performance metrics.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency in logistics .
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Responsible for tasks involving lifting of goods, up to 50 lbs, as needed.
- Uphold stringent safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving physical lifting and be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of PPE requirements for various warehouse tasks.
- Commitment to efficient logistics and operational excellence.
