Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any necessary maintenance.
- Accurately pick and stage orders according to company procedures.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions, ensuring correct documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper placement and rotation of goods.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Demonstrate a commitment to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) and other physical tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
