Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Transport materials to and from production areas or shipping docks.
- Inspect equipment for damage or defects and report any issues promptly.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding warehouse operations and safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous.
