Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified Forklift Operators to join our operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This vital role ensures the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse and distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting goods, managing inventory, and maintaining a secure work environment. Your expertise in operating forklifts is essential for keeping our logistics operations running smoothly. We prioritize safety above all else and require all operators to be proficient in handling equipment and adhering to strict safety standards, including the mandatory use of PPE . The role involves frequent operation of machinery and may require occasional lifting of items outside the forklift's capacity.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Transport goods to and from various warehouse locations, including racking systems.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear aisles and workspaces.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the warehouse.
  • Properly wear and utilize all required PPE at all times.
  • Accurately record movement of goods as required by warehouse management systems.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient order fulfillment and shipping.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve lifting and maneuvering palletized loads.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures is beneficial.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, including the strict use of PPE .
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
