Job Summary:
We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining accurate inventory placement, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires precision, a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to coordinate material movement and ensure timely order fulfillment. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials, pallets, and other goods.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of inventory.
  • Stack and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse activities.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to perform lifting (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and the correct use of PPE.
