Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced culinary professional to join our team as a COOK. This role involves providing exceptional food service within a dynamic environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, menu planning, and customer service, with experience in fine dining or the food industry. Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of all food products
- Support catering events, including setup, serving, and cleanup
- Provide excellent food service to guests, including taking orders and serving meals in a professional manner
- Utilize knife skills and other culinary techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently
- Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu offerings based on current trends and guest preferences
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, especially in fine dining settings
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, or serving is highly desirable
- Skills in culinary techniques such as knife skills, plating, and flavor pairing are advantageous
- Prior kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment will be beneficial for success in this role

Pay: $44, $53,942.36 per year
