Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with food industry POS systems and a background in fine dining or hospitality is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while providing memorable dining experiences.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cashiering systems
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and reset tables promptly for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and overall restaurant cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Prior experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering roles will be advantageous

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
