Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with food industry POS systems and a background in fine dining or hospitality is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while providing memorable dining experiences.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and reset tables promptly for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and overall restaurant cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Prior experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering roles will be advantageous

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
