As a Direct Support Professional, you'll make a meaningful difference by supporting individuals with disabilities and special needs in their homes and communities. You'll provide compassionate, hands-on care that helps each person live as independently and confidently as possible.

In this role, you will:

• Provide personal care and daily living support (meal prep, housekeeping, hygiene, etc.)
• Assist with community activities, shopping, and appointments
• Support individuals in managing finances, bill paying, and personal goals
• Document observations, progress, and activities accurately
• Promote dignity, independence, and choice in every interaction
• Serve as a positive and caring representative of Wabash Center to those we serve and their families

• A caring heart and empathy for persons with disabilities
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience in direct care or working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (preferred)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance
• Ability to meet background check requirements
• Strong communication and documentation skills
