La Embajada is a new independent luxury specialty store located in the heart of
Clarksville. The space is dedicated to mid-century modern and contemporary design
from Mexico, with a strong focus on quality handcrafted goods and curated, high-touch
customer experiences.

Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, motivated, and energetic General Manager to lead La
Embajada's store operations, elevate team performance, and deliver exceptional guest
experiences. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on
approach to ensure operational excellence, brand integrity, and financial success across
all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of store operations, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Ensure operational efficiency across inventory management, merchandising, store presentation, and adherence to brand standards
  • Drive financial performance by meeting or exceeding sales goals, profitability targets, and operational KPIs
  • Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition, clienteling, retention,and long-term relationship building
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and visible leader on the sales floor, modeling best-in-class luxury service
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, courtesy, and sound ethical judgment
  • Foster a positive, high-performing, and people-first team culture through coaching, mentoring, and clear communication
  • Collaborate with MML leadership to align store operations with broader company initiatives and brand standards
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, brands, pricing, systems, and procedures, ensuring the team is consistently trained and informed
  • Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in daily operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role; luxury retail or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language skills area plus
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing teams
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, drive profitability, and achieve sales targets
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Background knowledge of or interest in Latin American culture, design, and craftsmanship strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
