Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The successful candidate will support a diverse caseload across multiple practice areas, including Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, Social Security, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, and more. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within a collaborative legal environment. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing strategic counsel to clients. Strong research skills, excellent writing abilities, and proficiency with legal research tools. Prior experience in federal law is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Assist in managing cases across various practice areas including Ch7 and Ch13 Bankruptcy, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and Social Security.
- Support attorneys in client consultations by preparing case summaries and legal analyses.
- Participate in negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines.
- Stay current on relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate legal advice.
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and improve firm processes.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar is required or pending admission with eligibility to practice under supervision.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a client-focused approach.
- Legal administrative experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney eager to expand their expertise across multiple practice areas within a dynamic firm committed to professional excellence and client service.
