Location: Noir Sushi & Sake Fusion Lounge – Gaslamp District, San Diego, CA
Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Evening & Weekend Availability Required)

Noir Sushi & Sake Fusion Lounge is an upscale Japanese dining concept in the heart of the Gaslamp District. Focused on traditional sushi artistry and curated sake offerings, Noir delivers a refined, modern culinary experience. We are building a team of hospitality professionals who are passionate about excellence in both service and presentation.

Role Overview:
We are looking for professional, detail-oriented Servers to provide exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, high-standard restaurant environment. You'll be responsible for guiding guests through the menu and ensuring every table receives seamless, respectful, and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive and informed service to guests from start to finish
• Clearly communicate daily features, menu items, and sake offerings
• Accurately take orders and input into POS using mobile devices (Toast POS)
• Coordinate with kitchen and sushi bar to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and assigned sections
• Follow opening/closing duties and adhere to restaurant cleanliness standards
• Work collaboratively with front and back-of-house team members

Requirements:

• 3+ year of experience as a server in a fast-paced, upscale Japanese-focused restaurant
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and/or sake a plus (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
• Positive attitude and polished presence
• Punctual and dependable
• Current Food Handler certification required (or willingness to obtain before start date)

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
