 Job description
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in Telemetry Unit.
  • The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
  • He / She communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications
  1.  M/S Tele RN Nights & EOW - 36hrs – MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS *** Unit Name: Pingree 4 – Medical Cardiology. Experience Required: 2+ years with Strong Cardiac background; Interpret Telemetry. Post Cath Care – PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation etc. TR Band, Femoral approach 
EXPERIENCE:
  • MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS
  • Medical Cardiology Unit.
  • Strong Cardiac background
  • Interpret Telemetry
  • Post Cath Care
  • PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation etc.
  • TR Band, Femoral approach
  • Cardiac Drips
  • Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Heparin, Nitro, Dilt, Lidocaine etc.
  • 11. Census: EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 13. Certifications Required: Travelers must have an active ACLS & BLS certification; must be Telemetry certified.
