No licensing experience required but if you have it, that's a plus.
What You'll Own (Key Responsibilities)
This role manages the full lifecycle of licensing operations for partners like Marvel, DC, Lucasfilm, and more:
1. Licensing Submissions & Approvals
- Prepare, submit, and track all product submissions
- Manage feedback from licensors
- Ensure assets, designs, trims, packaging, and marketing materials meet licensor standards
- Organize submission windows and deadlines
- Maintain perfect accuracy across all documentation
2. Relationship & Communication
- Take calls with licensors
- Maintain positive, professional communication
- Serve as the day-to-day licensing contact for SUPERX
- Represent our brand with excellence and clarity
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with design, product development, and marketing
- Translate licensor feedback into actionable steps
- Ensure all timelines are hit without excuses
- Maintain accurate trackers, databases, and calendars
4. Process Excellence
- Map out and improve workflows
- Build better tracking systems
- Optimize approvals and reduce delays
- Bring creative problem-solving to bottlenecks
5. Operational Ownership
- Weekly reporting
- Organizing files, assets, templates
- Maintaining licensor style guides
- Ensuring compliance on all fronts
- Anticipating problems before they happen
What Success Looks Like
Within 90 days, you should be able to:
- Independently run submission cycles
- Manage approvals with zero errors
- Handle calls with licensors confidently
- Keep all licensing assets organized
- Improve at least one system or process
- Communicate clearly and proactively
- Help launch multiple licensed collections flawlessly
Within 12 months, you should:
- Own relationships with licensors
- Run the entire licensing pipeline with speed, precision, and autonomy
- Contribute strategically to launches and partner growth
- Travel to establish relationships

Compensation
$70,000 per year
