ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Nurse Manager, Inpatient Oncology, assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the operation of the assigned unit. He/she combines clinical expertise with the application of leadership and nursing management principles to deliver high quality, cost-effective patient care and ensure satisfaction to both internal and external customers.
Requirements- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Must possess 5 years of experience in a similar setting/unit.
- Evidence of progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Current and maintained clinical skills and knowledge to provide direct care for a caseload of patients as required.
- Assumes administrative responsibilities in the absence of the nurse manager and provides coverage for other colleagues.
