Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

As a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform, you will report into the Engineering Manager of Data Platform. This team is responsible for the data use of the entire Roblox, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining a platform that supports the success of 100MM+ daily and 300MM+ monthly users.

• Be able to shape the data usage patterns across the entire company through a well-governed data platform.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and push innovation in data across Roblox.

• 5+ years experience in building a platform for data engineers and scientists, in at least one domain: product analytics and experimentation, discovery and catalog, data quality/O11y, governance and access control.
• Extensive experience with AWS and/or on-prem with relevant technology such as Python, Spark, Hive, K8s, Iceberg, Flink.
• Strong problem solving skills, and love fast paced, impact driven execution.
